to migrate or not to migrate
recently, a fair amount of my friends have been migrating from their spaces in blogger or livejournal to msn spaces... so i decided to check it out, and make a test-space of my own. i must say, i'm quite amused by all the pretty colours and selection of templates thus far... of course, if i do decide to conform and move over to msn spaces, that would mean i would be starting my 5th blog. lol. oy.

personally I think that blogging is now over rated. I've given it up and closed down my blog. Eveybodies life in on their computer these days, whether they like to admit it or not. We're all now a piece of meat advertising over the internet. I'm all for pretty colours and a vast selection of templates. So go for it. nothing with that being your 5th blog. hey, I just closed down my 4th friendster profile. So it's all good.

If you don't like the idea of people pouring out their souls on their blogs, then don't read them. Don't just complain about them and contribute to the so-called "problem."

sankara: sure, i agree - blogging is quite overrated. but as you've proven, people still read them regardless. so just as they "advertise" their lives online as you say, we're just as much suckers for being even just a little bit entertained by it.
whether someone chooses to depressingly pour out their hearts and souls in massive detail, or give a play-by-play of their 24/7 existence over the net, everyone needs some kind of outlet, right?
and bh: hmmm. no, not really. ;o) do you have anything else better to do than play videogames? :oP

don't get me wrong - i'll still read it, and i find blogging to be incredibly theraputic. i just can't rationalize having more than one on the go...
whatever floats your boat, i always say. hence the copious amounts of videogames.
